CLAYSBURG, PA

A south central Pennsylvania town with beautiful scenery.

The area is nestled between the Appalachian Front to the west and Dunnings Mountain of the Ridge and Valley Region to the east!

This painting below was of Musselman's Grove and was published in the December, 1959 edition of Esquire magazine!    The painter was Thomas B. Allen, a well-known New York City artist and illustrator back in the 1950's.  His paintings generally sell for $25,000 or more.  We have no clue where this original  painting is, but there is a story told in this article that you need to hear.
